Scientific Programme

15–17 April 2027 | Grand Hotel Union, Ljubljana

The programme includes a basic bone marrow pathology course, lecture sessions and interactive workshops. A major emphasis will be put on highlighting the advances in molecular pathogenesis and its relation to diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.

Workshop Topics

TN MPN & MPN/MDSAMLs & MDSs — novel mutationsPrimary bone/BM HGL

1. Triple negative myeloproliferations (absence of JAK2, CALR and MPL mutations) interrogating the borderline between myeloproliferative neoplasms and non-neoplastic proliferations, as well as “borderline” to MDS/MPN and MDS with thrombocytosis (including cases that display an MPN-like clinical and morphological presentation, but MDS and MDS/MPN-like genetics: 5q-, SF3B1, TET2, SRSF2, ZRSR2, etc.). Cases with germline variants, as well as cases with well-defined secondary causes (e.g. hereditary or secondary polycythaemia), are excluded.

2. Acute myeloid leukaemia and MDS cases with potentially disease-defining mutations that are not yet recognised as such in the current classification systems (e.g. RUNX1, UBTF, etc.).

3. Primary large cell / high-grade lymphomas of bone or presenting exclusively in the bone marrow.

Lecture Sessions

State-of-the-art presentations by internationally renowned experts covering the latest classifications and research advances.

Interactive Workshops

Case-based discussions led by the expert panel. We encourage attendees to submit interesting cases for review.

On-Demand Access

All lectures will be streamed live and made available on demand. Registered participants will receive a link for streaming all recordings for a 3-month period after the conference.
